We accomplished a lot at clinic today and it was much more efficient than expected.

Biopsy with sedation, lumbar puncture with intrathecal chemo, four oral meds, two chemo infusions, oral chemo and three more oral meds. It was an exhausting and emotional day as it always is during sedation days.. and I’m not even the one who got the chemo.

Oliver did not want to go to clinic today, he was scared of going into the sedation room, he was in pain, tired, nauseated from the chemo.. it’s so much to put his body through.

Our prayer is still that this round of chemo will put him into remission. It’s been easy to pretend that life is normal and in a lot of ways it has been. Days like these bring me back to reality. Two more chemo infusions- tomorrow and then on Friday. And once again the waiting for results begins…
