Prayer Requests

We’ll continue to update this page with specific prayer requests for our family. We believe that prayer is powerful and one of the most important things you can be doing for our family.

February 5, 2026

That we will figure out all the logistics (housing, flights, school, work, etc.) involved in bringing our family of 5 to the literal other side of the country for an extended amount of time
That none of us would get sick and that Oliver would not get a fever
That this would be a clinical trial that is successful for Oliver and all the other kids with this type of cancer. That his cancer will never come back. We are praying that this will be a scientific breakthrough that gives hope and a good prognosis for future kids with AMKL.
That God would give all of us, but especially Maddie and Liam, strength to get through each day. That we would all feel His presence in a way we never have before.

March 4th, 2025

1. Pray that our bone marrow donor would be willing to donate to Oliver.

2. Pray that our family (especially Oliver) and those helping us would not come down with any illness while his counts are still so low.

3. Pray that this round of chemo would be successful so we don’t have to do a more intense round of chemo and so we can do a bone marrow transplant.

March 30th, 2025

Pray that our family (especially Oliver) and those helping us would not get sick while Oliver is home during this round of chemo and his counts are low.
Pray that this round of chemo would put Oliver into remission so that he can have a bone marrow transplant.

3. Pray that the donor compatability tests would look good.

4. Pray that our 10/10 donor would be available to donate bone marrow when the time comes.

February 18, 2025

Please pray that our family and extended family would stay healthy over the next weeks and months as Oliver is immunocompromised.
2. Pray for rest and peace for all of us.
3. Pray that our insurance would approve the oral chemo for outpatient use.
4. Pray that this round of chemo would be successful in killing his cancer.
5. Pray that we would easily and quickly find a match for a bone marrow transplant when the time comes.

February 2nd, 2025

Please pray that God would fully heal and cure Oliver.
Please pray that Oliver’s cancer would respond to this first round of chemotherapy and they can start a bone marrow transplant immediately afterwards.
Pray that God would give Maddie and Liam strength during this huge and scary disruption to their normal routines and lives.
Pray that Will and I would be filled with God’s strength and peace and that we would be able to be there for all of our kids during this time.
