Just an update to say that we spoke to someone from Blood Cancer United this morning and received some encouraging news that the drug (Luveltamab) may be legally transferred to Blood Cancer United as early as tomorrow where they would be able to give it to families through compassionate use. They need to re-label the drug, but while the original estimate was six weeks, there’s some possibility it could get done for a single patient in a shorter timeframe. The doctor at BCU is planning to update us Monday or Tuesday as things progress, but if this becomes available for Oliver over the next few weeks our oncologists agree that we could hold his cancer off with a gentler regimen until we get ahold of the drug. Please pray that this deal will go through tomorrow and we will be able to get this medicine urgently.
