We arrived home yesterday early afternoon. It has honestly been a hard adjustment coming back home for everyone, but especially Oliver. It is hard for him to understand what is happening and why it’s happening. He slept so well last night, though, and is definitely happy to be home. He has been eating so much more and talking and running around with his siblings.

I took him back to clinic this morning to get his labs and meet with our doctor. The pharmacist told me she had to double check to confirm he was coming to clinic because he had engrafted so quickly and was discharged early compared to most bone marrow transplants. All his labs looked good and he didn’t need any transfusions today thankfully. They are overall just really happy with how he looks and we are happy to be together as a family again!
