Well, we were woken up at 4:30—not sure how long everyone was awake before that though. I’ll take it!
It was a beautiful day—chilly but clear, blue skies. The combination of water and mountains everywhere you look is stunning. We have had our share of emotional and hard moments..it’s been a long two days, especially with the time change.
We got to visit the zoo, explore the Green Lake neighborhood, and visit West Seattle. We ate seafood outside with a view of the Seattle skyline.
Tomorrow we have lots of appointments including an echocardiogram (that we just did last week and they have to repeat because the didn’t get a good enough view), meetings with many different teams including our main oncologist running the trial, and we should be finding out whether or not Oliver needs an additional central line for the apheresis.
Will you pray that the day goes smoothly (and as quickly as possible) and that they can use his current line?
