It has been a long but successful day. We were at Seattle Children’s Hospital (I have never been in a more beautiful hospital before!) for a solid 8 hours today with all three kids. They were such troopers and really did well for the most part the entire day.

Oliver had a successful echocardiogram (sometimes it is hard to get certain views with his central line and the dressing that surrounds it) and we met with several other teams including our main oncology team. We feel really good about the team here in Seattle—they seem very experienced and are very kind. We are hopeful about the trial and the possibilities it could mean for Oliver. We also talked to the apheresis team and they are planning to use the central line he already has, which is amazing! Since they don’t need to place a line we have tomorrow off and then will spend another very long day on Wednesday collecting the T-cells.

We ended our day watching the sunset from a hilltop playground and eating ice cream sundaes!
