The countdown begins… one week until Seattle! We are still planning to leave for Seattle on Oliver’s 3rd birthday🎉 (March 24).

Our last visit (hopefully) to UNC clinic until after bone marrow transplant was today for intrathecal chemo. Oliver will get a bone marrow biopsy next Thursday the 26th to see what (if any) amount of cancer is in his bone marrow. Then we will get a few days to settle before he gets a PET scan, MRI, and begins four days of lymphodepleting chemo. All of that should be outpatient barring any emergencies.

So many of the details for Seattle have come together, and although it has been overwhelming, we are grateful to have a nice place to stay and flights to and from Seattle taken care of. Thank you for your part in helping us do that!

We are planning to celebrate our big 3 year old with a fun birthday party on Saturday. I’ll update with pictures at some point.
