It’s been a long few days, but we are done with the first chemo which means we don’t have to do chemo overnight or have as many interruptions to our sleep. We are still trying to figure out how to make his NG tube more comfortable as he is crying and saying yucky when we give him medicines through it, even though we have replaced the NG tube and made it smaller.

Oliver is still doing well but is slowing down a bit and seems to be feeling the effects of the chemo at times. The hardest thing is letting him move around and stay active with 3 lines and an NG tube, but he’s doing really well otherwise and looking good. His counts are all dropping as they are supposed to. We started another type of chemo today that will continue for about four days that will finally make him lose his hair. 5 days until the transplant!
